The Jubilee Express!

Hey guys! I know, I know! Stop berating me for not blogging in about 2 weeks. In my defense, I am going to say that I promised to blog until semester 2 didn't start. So ha!

Anyways, on to my blog title! It actually happens to be the title of a book that I was reading yesterday. It was part of a Christmas romance trilogy. Even though Christmas was about 2 months ago, I still enjoyed the book. I guess that it's mainly because Christmas happens to be my favourite holiday.

This long weekend is actually a welcome change from everything I experienced this week. Kind of a rough week, this was for me. This weekend, I actually founf time to do things that I haven't done in quite a while. It also helped (s) that I don't have a lot of work this weekend. So far, I have read an annoyingly big pile of books (most of them focusing on rebellious girls, if I may add), watched 6 movies (2 about superfast humans with powers given to them by an alien, one comedy, 2 murder mysteries and one disgustingly mushy romance). I also, miraculously, found time to clean my room which was starting to look a bit like a pig sty. No jokes!

The only homework I had thins week was to answer a few questions based on the particle theory, research an ancient and might I add, dead, scientist, study for my gym test, prepare notes for my french assesment and finsh my math homewrok. I guess that 'only' isn't the best way to describe my homeowrk, but ...... as I know from experience, it could have been worse!

Adios amigos!

Bonjour Tout le Monde!

I'm brushing up on my French you see. Anyways, I hope that you guys are enjoying all of your new classes. I just thought I'd give you guys a bit of a head up about my classes.

So, I gues I'll start with gym, my homeroom class this semester. So far, I'd have to say that it is really fun. my teacher Ms.Pak is very nice and looks very athletic. I think that gym will be my favourite class this semester.
Ms.Pak also listed a bunch of activities that we will be doing and I am really looking forward to them.

Next, I have science which I honestly think could tie for being my favourite class. My teacher, Mr. Laratt-Smith is very cool and I like what we're going to be studying in science. I just hope that I will not blow my self up with a Bunsen burner or something of that sort. I also sincerely hope that we won't be disecting anything as the sight of a dead animal makes me quesy. I don't think my barf would be a very pretty sight in our science classroom, whaddya think?????

I also have french, which I have to say is turning out to be a bit of a bummer. I mean I love France and french food, and french designers but.....the language is just not my type. I mean, I like french, but it's turning out a bit harder than I though that it would be. And today is only my third day. Je suis tres triste. On a brighter note, my teacher Mlle. Pandurevic is really understanding and doesn't seem to think badly of my insanely disgusting french skills. I'm pretty sure that I'm going to drop french next year without any hesitation!

Last, I have math which is my favouite subject. We haven't really done or learnt anthing special in class unfortunately. Our teacher, Ms. Zagaritis is also nice and has been giving us worksheets on integers to work on. I just hope that we start actual learning soon. I mean, there are only too many worksheets that you can complete in a day.

Anyways, I hope that I do well! Besides, this semester is a welcome change!

Sincerely,
Natasha Jain

Snow Day!

It's snowing! Cha-cha-cha!

Ok, I'll admit, that was uncalled for. I mean it doesn't really make a difference to me if it is a snow day becuase regardless, I have to stay at home. It's sort of boring!

Anyways, the good part is that awoke today to see my entire window covered in sheets of snow. I could barely see outside my window!

We were able to see our exam marks yesterday. I did alright in ICS but I definetely expected higher considering the time I put into studying for the exam.

Cheers,

Mundane Monday!

I'm not really sure what 'mundane' means, but it's something along the lines of commom and simple. In other words, the perfect word to describe my Monday.

Ron, Harry and Hermione
It's been really boring lately I mean......there are only too many rooms in a house you can clean. I've cleaned up basically the entire house plus taken up the job of brooming and mopping the kitchen daily. This should  probably give you an idea of how bored I am, because I despise cleaning; and that's saying something.

The only enjoyable thing that I have done is read all of the Harry Potter books in order and watched all of the  movies in order(except the last one.)

Oh a of course, I've also been reading the Dramione fan fics. Personall though, I prefer the Rose/Scorpius fan fictions as opposed to Draco/Hermione.

Here is one of my favourites :

Fire and Ice  - It is a Rose/Scorpius fan fic.

Bored To The Max!

Good Morning All! It has been almost two days since I have finshed my exams and all I have been doing is rotting at home (in a manner of speaking!)

Anyways, yesterday was brutal since I was home alone. In the end I ended up brooming and mopping the kitchen, cleaning the living room, cleaning the t.v, reading a few Dramione fics (the charm is sort of starting to wear off) and watching Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. When my brother got home from school, I ended up playing maid to him. No details necessary.

I don't exactlt have a fixed plan of what to do today except that I plan to continue with my cleaning parade around the house, watch Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and play with my yo-yo.

Ok. I lied about playing with the yo-yo. I just thought that it would emphasize the point of me being bored.

That's about it. Go on...laugh at how I'm spending my free time.

Sincerely,
Natasha Jain

So Long Semester One!

Ahhhh...well...all my exams are finally over. I would've blogged yesterday, but I was relishing all of my free time.

This means that I has 5 consecutive days off plus Wednesday of one week.
Although it has only been less than a day since I finished my exams , I feel sort of useless lying around the house.
There is nothing I can study for, no homework, nothing. Oh well! There is always the choice of cleaning the house...but do I really wnat to do that????

Oh well!

Sincerely,
A-very-bored Natasha

P.S I've noticed that blogging consoles me in times of great need! :P

The Alleged Last Blog Post

* weeps * Hey guys! This is supposed to be our last blog post. That's right...it's supposed to......but it isn't going to be. I think that I've grown attached to blogging regularly, so I've decided to continue doing so. Well....at least until semester two doesn't start. When semester two starts, I think that I will post, but not regularly.

Anyways, it is quite sad to see the end of semester. I am one of those people who unfortunately doesn't accustom well to changes and get's attached and used to routines. I also will miss having ICS everyday. I have to say, out of all my courses, I've learnt the most in ICS. And not just creating a website or creating programs, but time management, working in a group and organizational skills. This is due in part to Mr.Arkin who's great expectations (Haha! No, I'm not thinking of the book!) is the reason of change in me. Thank you!

I also want to thank everyone in the class because it was a fun experience having you guys as my classmates and I'm glad I met you all.
It makes me sad to think about how fast time flies. It seems as if it was only yesterday that I was first listening to Mr.Arkin introduce himself.

Computers was very relaxing and fun on Friday. Mr.Arkin brought in a special surprise for us : cake. It was very delicious. There was also an assortment of chips, timbits an chocolate chip cookies. I think that more than the food, I enjoyed the relaxing mood. there was music playing while all of us got to play each others games. It was fun! I especially enjoyed Yu Chen and Laura's Harry Potter Pacman game. Avada Kedavara! Ha! I spent part of my period ....you guessed it....reading Dramione!
I hope this Dramione addiction doesn't get in the way of my exams preperation. I've actually lowered my limit of Dramione to 0 a day. But after exams are over, I'll have 5 days off until exam review day, so basically all I plan to do all day long is :
 - read Dramione fics
- watch all 7 Harry Potter movies'
- read all 7 Harry Potter movies

and if I have time :
- read the Hunger games
- read Hunger Game fics

(Essence of Grace! :P)

Don't miss me too much!

Cheers,
Natasha

P.S I realize the "Don't miss me too much!" comment was inappropriate as I promised to blog until semester two begins!
